Quiet day today. I made breakfast in the morning and it turned out all right. It’s an old gas stove and the landlord had shown Cori a little lighter for it, but it turned out the lighter was empty. I remembered Cori had picked up a matchbox at the restaurant we went to, so we were rescued. There’s no toaster so I fried our bread. All good.
I took two walks, one with Ran and one with Cori. Always nice to see the beautiful buildings. We also stopped at a church. So ornate and gorgeous.
Around 6 pm we went on a food tour. Took the bus to the meeting place and it turned out the others who had booked it had cancelled, so it was a private tour. We stopped at 6 restaurants. All yummy. We stepped in a church at the last stop and watched the mass for a little while. Robby, our tour guide, is both Italian and Australian. Besides these tours, he teaches English to business people.
