Foggy Maine

After leaving the Hoebekes, we headed for Acadia National Park, about 3 hours away. The trip went well and when we arrived late in the morning, Randy set up the trailer the quickest he’s ever done and everything worked! We kind of just hung around the rest of the day.

This morning we woke up to rain and fog. We drove into Acadia anyway and it was surprising how busy it was, in spite of the lousy weather. We drove around a bit and I went to two of the gift shops. Tomorrow we have a reservation for the Cadillac Mountain drive. I made it for 12:30 because the sun did come out a bit today later in the afternoon. We’ll hope! On the weather app, every day shows clouds and chance of rain—until Tuesday when we’re scheduled to leave, of course. Randy said we’ll have photos of “Acadia, the park we didn’t see.” But even in the fog all the green and trees are pretty.
