Kids on their way home - school after the quarantine

Today I walked to Baskin Robbins and treated myself to an ice cream cone. While I sat licking my scoop of mint chocolate chip, I heard a bunch of kids’ voices and laughter. I looked across the street and there were maybe 10 or so kids grouped in twos or threes going to the store, obviously on their way home from school. What a beautiful sight. What a beautiful sound.
