Our maiden voyage

We are in P.J. Hoffmaster campground, living in our new trailer! Right now it is raining so the relatives we joined up with here are on some day trips in the area. Randy and I decided to stay here and wait for his brother Dale, who is coming to visit in a couple hours.

Luke was around on Monday and various Moon family members from around Fremont came by, which is a really nice thing they do whenever we visit. Luke got to see several cousins and others. He flew home early Tuesday morning. During the day Tuesday we had around 14 or more Moons together at Marj's house. Josh and Vivan came for most of the day with their three girls, Adelaide, Eden, and Aravis. Others included: Charlie, Mary Jo, Justin, Danny, Abby, Marcus, Becca, Mike, and their son Julian, Jake, Sierra, her friend Sarah, her mother, and more. I made spaghetti for dinner. That's a good meal for a crowd. Great to see everyone and good day. The guys helped Randy figure out the trailer. It turned out that Becca and Mike have a trailer made by the same manufacturer, smaller but very similar to ours, so Mike gave us a tour of how all the flips and switches work and what he's learned. Very helpful.

We packed everything up yesterday and drove here from Fremont, probably about an hour/hour and 1/2 drive. Yesterday was a good weather day, although hot and humid, as all days have been. It was so good to spend time with everyone: Pati, Sarah, Matt, their sons Isaac and Jonah, Josh, Vivian, their 3 daughters, Jake, Sierra, Sarah, Becca, Mike, and Julian, and also Matt's parents Bill and Sherry. Our campsite is a short walk away from where they are all camped. Their sites are right by a creek, which is great for the kids.

The ones actually doing the work, Luke and Charlie.
Grandma has cool OLD toys (old as Randy!). Eden was bummed she had forgotten a stuffed toy Great Grandma gave her. She loved that it smelled like the old toybox and she had meant to bring it to replenish the smell.
The girls made a farm.

Our first meal in the trailer!
Aravis doing some hunting in the creek. Isn't she just so cute?
Pati and me. Besties!
Playing in the creek. Mike, Sarah, Randy, Becca, Aravis, Eden.
Julian played a version of Pooh sticks from the bridge. First drop the cup...
...Then Dad picks it up from the other side...
...Then Dad gives it back to do all over again!
Beautiful green trees all over the campground.

These dragon flies looked like big black bugs until they landed and you saw their iridescent green bodies.
